My name is Nikolai. I’m a freelance art director from Los Angeles and have been a creative with income since 2005. I’m a fan of good design, advertising, photography, typography, music. I’m not necessarily good at any of that stuff, but I do appreciate it.

I’ve had the fortune of working at some cool places and some not-so-cool places. The work can be anything interesting like developing sites, ads and taking photos of cool things and other times it can be as mundane as creating coupons. Either way, the goal is to transform that piece into something that communicates an idea.
